The National Credit & Treasury Manager is a senior leader responsible for managing the credit & treasury functions of the organization. Reporting to the Finance Director this role will lead strategic initiatives focused on strong internal & external business partnering, corporate liquidity, credit risk management, and organizational compliance.This role will support the 8 operational divisions across Canada, covering construction equipment, mining equipment, material handling, mobile and crawler cranes, earthmoving, maritime cranes, concrete, aerospace, transportation systems, service operations, parts distribution, rentals, and major projects.ResponsibilitiesCredit ManagementLead organizational credit risk strategy & policyReview credit portfolio exposure, credit limits, payment terms, and coordinate collection effortsDevelop financing and payment solutions working closely with the divisional sales teams and customersManage critical department metrics and oversee key national accountsTreasury ManagementLead short and long term cash flow forecasting tied to the 5 year organizational business plan and reported to the global parent entityReview daily cash postings, bank reconciliations, and working capital limitsSupport short and long term inventory, investment, and operational budgeting process tied to cash flow managementLead multi-currency foreign exchange hedging strategyReview & approve payment transactions under the corporate signature policyBusiness Partnering & LeadershipLead the Credit Manager & supporting collections team, providing mentoring and professional development opportunitiesEngage divisional leaders and operational sales teams before and after customer transactionsVisit key national customer accounts and corporate branches, developing a strong understanding of operational and market needsManage all banking relationships, optimizing corporate financial agreements and financing solutions for customersCompliance and Internal ControlsLead compliance aligned to the corporate credit policy across the company and address any risk mitigation strategiesPromote a strong internal control environment, targeting cash management, credit risk, bank covenants, and segregation of dutiesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedCompetencies5-10 years of proven leadership experience and independence within a credit management and treasury environmentStrong technical financial and credit experience, understanding liquidity management and the full cycle collections processAbility to build short and long term financial cash flow models, sourcing inputs, assumptions, and integrating key target metricsStrong leadership and customer management abilitiesDiverse experience with complex customer portfolios spanning multiple products, markets, and geographic regionsAbility to implement effective change management through impact & influenceExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP is preferredOur OfferCompetitive wagesExtensive benefits with employer paid premiums starting day 1Hybrid or remote work opportunities for select roles*Paid vacation starting at 3 weeks PLUS 6 dedicated family, health and wellness days6% employer RRSP matching$3000 annual allowance for continuing educationInternational training & development work opportunities for select roles*And much more!Liebherr Canada Ltd. is committed to provide a diverse, inclusive, safe and dignified work environment for all employees, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other aspect of their identity.Please note the following:We do not use AI to screen resumes.
